Improving Sales of an Ecommerce Store in 2023

Spirit is a fashion e-commerce company that isn’t doing too well. Their clothes are just not selling! Sadly, most users are abandoning the platform before creating an account and during checkout. The business wants to improve overall sales of it’s platform and retain customers in the hopes of keeping their business alive, so they re-brand their company, embracing #sustainable and #ethical fashion.

Sarah Smith, 32

Sarah doesn't want to waste money on clothes. She never wears a lot of her clothes because the quality is not good. Her friend told her about sustainable fashion, but Sarah hasn't seen too many options. However, she wants better quality clothing.

55% are interested in purchasing so-called “sustainable clothing,” but 48% don’t know how or where ot find sustainable clothes and 42% are confused what actually makes clothing sustainable.

Next Steps

Next Steps would be to create more userflows and more screens, fleshing out the entire e-commerce platform. I would work on improving the UI and branding. I would continue with usability testing as I add more pages and features.
